This was a great choice - especially as we managed to get off the ship pretty quickly, unlike some passengers who told us that later tendering was a disaster. Lovely place despite the rain, walked to the big waterfall, C. 90 minutes up a steep path, fantastic views. The waterfall in the town is also amazing & the new walkway superb.

Cruising into the geirangerfjord was absolutely magical! Morning rain and fog started to lift just as we approached the seven sisters waterfalls - lovely. Then the sun came out and the rest of the day was warm and beautiful. We felt like we were "over the rainbow". Walked up to the waterfall in port and then just enjoyed our amazing surroundings. ...
WOW. Just WOW. Go immediatly to the tourist office in town and book a bus to Mount Dalsnibba. It's an absolutely stunning trip. Once back in town, walk along and up the river and waterfall for more stunning views of Geirangerfjord. Make sure your camera battery is fully charged, as you will be snapping away. ...
