Upon arriving into Freeport, Grand Bahamas, the first thing we noticed was a very thick yellowish gray mist coming from the harbor and spreading out into the bay. My DH and I only got off the ship, and stayed in the little straw market near the dock. The ship docks quite a way from town, but the taxis only cost $5 pp each way. My rating of Freeport is based on our tour with Pinetree Stables. We booked a tour directly with the owner for a two beach/ecotrail ride. Cab ride was about 10-15 minutes ($5 pp) to the stables.
