Fre port has a few cruise shops near the ship. Then you need to take a tour or taxi to see what is available. We chose a taxi. He was a native and very informative. BUT.... there is nothing to see. Much much poverty. Storm damage from hurricanes that were many years ago. Millionaire row that is mutely advertised is a gate community and no one drives thru there. They drive next to a ...
When someone calls and uses the word “free” just hang up the phone! We received a “free” cruise for doing a phone interview. I knew that I would have to pay port fees but everything else was a lie! Lie after lie and fee after fee! We stayed at the Ramada for two nights as part of the package with three free meals. Again, there is that word “free.” The food was horrible and we had to pay a ...
This was the only cruise I have ever been on. Everything was mess. We were told that we could check in at 10am, board the ship at noon, rooms at 2pm and that our luggage would be waiting for us in our rooms.
10am check in- the lady was very slow and made several remarks about how she hated her job.
Boarding the ship- it was almost 1pm before we could board the ship
2pm room check in- ...
This was my first time on a cruise and I ignored all the bad reviews when I wish I had listened! I have heard many people talk about other cruise lines where the food is great and you can eat any time. That wasn't the case here. The best food came out at 11pm, where you can have onion rings, chicken tenders, tacos. The food during the day is not very good. They only have four places you can eat, ...
We were tricked into going to a mandatory time share meeting before we were allowed to get our tickets to the ship. This took up the better part of a day. We were not aware that this was required. Every upgrade we were offered, such as the hotels, meal plans, etc) was a waste of money.
The kids had very little to do & pool did not stay open very late. This was a party ship, no doubt, but ...
Cabins are very small with no storage but most importantly no air flow. It was stifling hot and thoroughly miserable. I hope you like to swelter especially during romance.
To boot all beds are dressed with heavy comforters for warm weather ONLY....meaning in the tropic heat and no AC you have NO SHEET just a heavy blanket.
Pools are small and not comfortable as are jacuzzis which are ...
Upon arriving at the Port of Palm Beach, we discovered the check-in process is very disorganized, confusing. and extremely time consuming. When I booked this cruise, I was told that if I upgraded my cabin for $200 it would accommodate the 3 of us and the bathroom area would be handicap accessible. but it was not. I was born without arms and utilize a 3-wheel electric scooter to get around and ...
My first cruise and never again. Rip off from the booking to the guy providing the info
About the trip once on board to the not so funny comedian. Rooms are too small. Fees are ridiculous .
And don't complain about anything because it goes nowhere. Not worth the headache.
The announcer will tell you that when u get to the hotel your luggage will be in your room.
Not true... Checking in is at ...
I went on a cruise with Celebration Bahamas and booked it with other travel packages. Started off by them saying we had to do a 90 min time share tour to get our vouchers.... Well it ended up being a 6 hour mandatory toury with pushy sales people. The people there laughed when i showed them that it said it would be a 90 minute tour, they said Celebration is full of lies to get people to do what ...
You won't save any money booking a Bahamas Celebration Cruise even if you get it for "free" for sitting through a 3-4 hour timeshare presentation. After each night on the old and outdated ship, we received up charges for fuel charges, mandatory tipping fees for staff and other bizarre charges that added $200 on the way there and $105 on the way back. We bought no soda, attended no upcharged meals, ...
