Not much going on at this stop either, we walked around the port shops and then lounged by the pool, the weather was very nice this day and it was by far the warmest of the trip ...

Even the captain told us that there is not much to do in Freeport. I was surprised but Freeport is not that developed like Nassau. But that is also what makes it great. We had a GREAT excursion on this stop. We did the 14 mile bike ride across the island. We had a great local tour guide that was funny and took us all over the place. Then we had a nice lunch at some tropical island park that was ...

I would give Freeport/Lucaya itself a "3," but I would give our excursion a "5-plus." We took the guided Kayak trip to Lucaya National Park. It was fabulous!! We had an excellent/knowledgeable nature guide... This was a 6-hour excursion that lasted 8 wonderful hours! (We DID get back to the ship in time!) The excursion included kayaking thru a mangrove swamp, a stop at a very pretty beach, a short ...

Freeport was nothing exciting. We took a cab ($5/pp in a van)Z to the main shopping area. There was some right at the port, but the one across town is better. There are bars and restaurants mixed right in. Had a great drink, good wings (ask for them with sauce on them!) and great bartender service at Rum Runners. Met lots of fellow vacationers. Walked across the street to the Radisson grounds and ...

We did the Jeep Adventure while in Freeport and we had a great time. Freeport is not a very exciting island but what we saw was very beautiful. We saw lots of sites, different beaches, and we had a wonderful lunch at Garden of the Groves. This is advertised as a "light snack" but it was actually a choice of sandwiches, a bag of chips, and a beverage. Very tasty lunch in a gorgeous setting! We ...

Arrived at 9am, got off ship at 11am, caught cab to Old Lucaya, did some shopping at the straw market (same stuff as Nassau but more expensive), and searched all around for the Sand Dollar tour. Finally looked near the piers and Capt Tony found us. Not sure how he stays in business. 2 other couples also came on the cruise. We all enjoyed snorkeling for a couple of hours at treasure reef and saw ...
