Frankly we found Frankfurt underwhelming and very disappointing after a wonderful cruise. We booked 3 nights when we would have done better to have flown directly after our cruise. From Frankfurt we took the full day tour of Heidelberg. The castle architecture was fascinating, and it provided an opportunity to get some great photos of the town.
