I love Jamaica and the people many think the people there are pushy and that may be but I do love to get away from the port and shop in the back streets..In port a bottle soda is 3 dollars and outside the port 1 dollar mon..So if you feel like nothing or no one will hurt you then shop here ..I have really never had a problem there is just to much security around.. ...
The area right off the ship is very well kept and you can get some unique shopping done here. We ventured into the actual city of Falmouth though and that was very interesting. If you choose to do so, be ready to be haggled quite a bit by the locals and be ready to say no. Falmouth they say is the shopping day. They also say Dunn's River Falls is the place to go and maybe we do that next time.
