Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Serenade of the Seas

We did the shore excursion to Chukka Eco Estate at Good Hope. We enjoyed the countryside drive and our visit. It's located alongside a beautiful tropical small river. The staff were friendly and helpful but never bothering or pushing sales. The pool and waterfall are a great place to cool off. ...

The port has been developed into a very nice-looking complex of shops to serve cruise ship passengers. At 10:30 we left for our Jamaica shore excursion: Bamboo Beach Club. Tip: Give yourself a good 20 minutes to disembark and walk to the area where shore excursion buses load—it’s a pretty long walk. The bus ride was about 20 minutes each way, and our guide shared a lot of factoids on Jamaica. ...

Drivers did not show up for historic Falmouth tour so many of us were left stranded. RC rep said he thinks it was a union strike. There were vans available to take you places for a fee and most of the RC guests, including us, wanted to go somewhere. A driver took us to Dunn's Fall for $40 each round trip (we were a party of 5), plus there is an entrance fee to the falls. Falls was ok, nothing ...

We did a tour through Princess that took us to Mystic Mountain and then to Dunn's River Falls. We rode the Bobsled Mountain Coaster and the Ragamuffin. Both were fun. We weren't aware that we were going to be asked for tips at every stop so we didn't bring enough cash. We really enjoyed the hike of the Falls also. This tour was fun but obviously very "touristy". We felt that everything we ...

We only went to the port area. This was our first time here. Went to Margaritaville. It was crowded, loud and took FOREVER. They were very short staffed. Next time we will book an excursion. The port area itself was quite nice. Did a little shopping and enjoyed street performers and music. It was clean and easy to get around. ...
