Ensenada is simply a tourist trap. If you want some good deals on Mexican stuff, walk into town to the main drag. ...

Depressing and dirty. We walked down the main tourist road and were pestered constantly by begging children and people trying to sell us drugs (legal and not). We ate in a local restaurant and were extremely disappointed by the slow service and crappy food. On the way back to the ship after dark the entire waterfront seemed very seedy. We should probably have stayed on the ship. ...

Ported very close to town. We did the Princess excursion winery tour. It was really worth it, and very nice. The tour guide was exceptional. We drove on a very new air conditioned bus. The first winery was state of the art and the valley where the winery is, is just gorgeous. The second winery was smaller, but very friendly. We felt very safe and enjoyed this tour. After, we went shopping in ...

Our plan was to stay near the ship and look around at a few shops. They have a shuttle right by the ship that is $3 round trip to town. So we decided to take the shuttle. While on the shuttle they advertised a tour that went to the Blow Hole and market for $15. We decided to take this independent tour with several other passengers from the ship. Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. ...

The free bus ride from the ship drops you off at the intense, northern end of Lopez Mateos, the main tourist drag in town, near Hussong's and other bars. The shopkeepers there work the sidewalk hard to hustle customers into their stores. For a more relaxed experience, skip the bus and walk toward the tall Marina hotel, at the southern end of Lopez Mateos. There is finer shopping and fine dining ...

This was our least favorite port. We took a tour to the Blow Hole, which was okay, but nothing out of the ordinary. If you have seen the one on Oahu, this one pales in comparison. There is a large flea market at the blow hole, which is great for buying souvenirs. ...
