I would have given Dubrovnick five stars if the hours were there we’re not 7 AM to 1 PM. Limited us on what we could do. Enjoyed exploring the old city and the walls, and we took a 45 minute boat ride for €10 apiece. Made us feel that ... Read More

Dropped us in old town so we could walk but it was overrun with tourist and extremely hot. Hence average rating. Read Less

Beautiful Dubrovnik and what a ‘Bobby Dazzler’ as Captain Chris would say. We took the taxi straight off the ship into town which was 95 kuna or €13 each way. Went into the old town and from the internet and using the tour map designed my own Game of Thrones tour and it didn’t cost me a penny apart from the entry fee onto the walls (150 kuna). Walked the whole wall which has loads of steps but great views and got my steps super up! Walked through the beautiful town and saw the sights before walking to the cable car. After dealing with a ‘pusher in’ type (I’m used to challenging those in theme parks) we took the cable car to the top. Purchased the tickets at a vendor (150 kuna) small que. amazing views (Tip - if you’re going to have refreshments go to the indoor bar. It has panoramic views and no one goes in there but there’s a waiting list for outside. Entrances are separate) Read Less

We did our own thing and walked the wall and Game of Thrones! It was terribly hot and you just have to be prepared to sweat all day. We loved it! Getting on and off the ship was a breeze at each stop.

We had a long day in Dubrovnik, and our goal was really just to get out early and walk the walls all the way around. Unfortunately, our behind the scenes tour was this morning, and as I mentioned, it was postponed, and then once it did start, lasted about two hours. Not a big deal since we were going to be in port until Midnight. We all enjoyed Dubrovnik, and toured the churches, streets and just in general had a nice leisurely stroll around town. We did make it up to the wall, and all but one of us (okay, it was me) made it all the way around on the walls. This city is totally doable on your own. It was beautiful, and fun to just explore.
