Ship in general was a reasonable size. Very Clean. Rooms were spacious. Enough room for everything. The staff was fantastic ! We had Alex and Avetik in the dining room ( they were awesome – great recommendations and super kind ) and TUN was a great room steward. The food. Supper was very well presented. My husband liked the cream soups. I liked most if not all the appetizers. We were very ...

Good itinerary

Review for Seabourn Ovation to Baltic Sea

We chose this cruise for the itinerary which included a stop in the outer Hebrides and the Orkney Islands. The ship is very nice though the design is odd. A good half a dozen times we encountered other passengers who joked about being lost / felt confused by the layout. The pool area creates a separation between cabins, and not in a good way. The enrichment activities on this cruises weren't ...

We wanted to go to Ireland so we went a few days early to do a short tour of Ireland & then were able to see countries as we made our way to do the transatlantic crossing. The ship is old but everything worked. The cruise staff was great. Would have liked to hear more updates from the captain. We had to divert around hurricane so we missed 2 ports but better to be safe. Food was good. They ...

Fantastic experiences on the British Isles

Review for Crown Princess to Europe - British Isles & Western

Our group of 7 had a fantastic 2 weeks in Ireland and on the Crown Princess. From embarking to disembarking, we were always busy doing something. This cruise had 9 ports in 12 days with only 2 split days at sea. It's a cruise for active individuals. All the ports were wonderful in their own way. The lone exception was Southampton. The bus ride to London and the time able to be spent their wasnt ...

This cruise venue had three separate itineraries on board simultaneously.

We chose this itinerary for the destinations. They were all good. Unfortunately there were some disappointing areas that need improvement. The shore excursions were well organized and mostly interesting but quite expensive. The Horizon Court dining venue was always overcrowded caused in part by guests hogging tables to read etc. also they utilize plastic dishes and glasses. ...

We chose this ship and itinerary because we wanted to go to the Normandy landing beaches. The cruise also included many ports we had not previously visited, so we were looking forward to it! The cabin was the smallest we've ever had. One chair and one tiny table, so there was no possibility of dining in the room. The bed was great and man was the shower good and hot!!! The ship was ...

We took the British Isles cruise on Crown Princess, August, 2019. We had a really good time and enjoyed ourselves. Ship: Although not the fanciest ship around, the Crown Princess was very clean, had everything we needed and was easy to find our way around. Embarkation: We boarded in Dublin and were given our medallions and were on board in under two minutes. Excellent. Stateroom: We had ...

This was our 5th cruise so we had lots to compare the Magellan to. As it was cheaper than our usual cruises we didn't expect it to be as good as it was. We booked though a local bus company (J McGinley coaches) who picked us up practically at our door and returned us home immediately on disembarking no airports or hanging around a great plus for the holiday.Embarking and disembarking was super ...

Oceania vs. Princess

Review for Nautica to Norwegian Fjords

For those interested in a comparison, let's look at the differences between Oceania and Princess. We were on the 18-day Dublin-Copenhagen segment. This was our first cruise with Oceania. We are elite with Princess. We chose this cruise because of the itinerary: Norway and northern Russian ports. Oceania has considerably less merchandising pressure. There is no crew of photographers. The ...
