I’ve been a bit concerned when reading some recent reviews on the Reflection so I was pleasantly surprised during this, my fourth time on this particular ship. I really cannot see what anyone has to complain about! It was my 23rd X cruise so I’ve had plenty of experiences to compare this with!

We chose this cruise for the destination. It was my second cruise (my 1st was with Celebrity in 2017 to Alaska) and my husband's first cruise. We were in a suite. This was a Back to Back cruise, from Dublin to Iceland on May 16, then Dublin to Norway on May 26. Celebrity runs these routes only a few times a year. Because of the weather, balcony and outside deck use was minimal, if at all. The only outside features that were used were the hot tubs.

After 3 Mediterranean cruises, we picked this unique itinerary with 2 overnight ports. The ship was fantastic but crew was not very enthusiastic compared to previous cruises. We wanted to go to Iceland without incurring the high price of lodging and eating on the island.
In Dublin the check-in terminal is not at the ship. After check-in they bus you to the ship. We walked from the last Luas (tram) point. Probably should have taken a taxi. Since the ship spent the first night in Dublin we were able to walk from the ship to the tram (Luas). It took 15 minutes.

I enjoy cruising Celebrity for many reasons. They have an excellent buffet and a spa cafe with healthy selections. I have dairy allergy and entire dining staff was helpful in determining what I could eat and chefs would make adjustments for me. This was our first cruise with Celebrity. We are diamond members with RCL and wanted to try out Celebrity. We found the dining to be a step up from RCL with no need to dine at specialty restaurants. we took this cruise because the itinerary appealed to us. We were not disappointed. The cruise met or exceeded(Shetland Islands) our expectations. Our only regret: not enough time allowed for Dublin prior to cruise. Stayed two nights at the North Star hotel before boarding the ship.
