Disappointed

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Celebrity Reflection

Chose this cruise as departure was from Dublin and although it was quite chaotic to check in it didn't take too long. The ship itself was quite disappointing as I was expecting much more grandeur (having previously only cruised with Royal Caribbean (6 cruises) and had always thought that Celebrity were a step up but I was very wrong). Although the ship was clean, and staff were mostly pleasant I ...

Underwhelming Experience

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Celebrity Eclipse

We choose this cruise because of the itinerary, price and our past experience on the Eclipse. We booked Aqua Class because of our past experience on the Equinox. The Aqua Class Balcony rooms are small but access to the Blu Restaurant makes up for that. ...... or so we thought.. The Blu experience was just ok from a food and service perspective. Our favourite lounge was the Ensemble. ...

Wanted to love this cruise

We chose this cruise primarily because of the itinerary. The size of the ship didn't look overwhelming and the opportunity to enjoy the Aqua Class experience was enticing. We looked forward to enjoying the cabin enhancements, the Persian Garden and the Blu restaurant. Of these three features, only the Blu restaurant was special. We traveled with friends who enjoyed the overall experience but ...

Celebrity Eclipse After many cruises with Celebrity I think it’s time to find another cruise line. With each of our recent cruises the quality of the experience seems to deteriorate just a little more. It is not one big thing that has brought about this change in our attitude but the accumulation of tiny things. The dining room staff not quite as well trained, on this recent Norway trip ...

Good ship some bad excursions

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Le Soleal

We chose Tauck small ship cruises due to reputation. We had a good experience last year on two river cruises. We would not recommend small ship cruises with Tauck. I had written a 5 page letter describing both the good and the bad on two small ship back to back cruises and I received back a one page letter addressing one item. Most group dinners consisted of chicken. Very little choice of ...

Very Disappointing Cruise Experience

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Celebrity Eclipse

The process getting on the boat was long, unorganized and confusing. The process getting off the boat was also very unorganized especially since the announcement giving permission to leave the boat never were announced to be heard in the cabin until the people lining up was so long. Disembarking was a total nightmare that was not organized at all, it took more than 45 minutes to get off. The ...

Things are just a little off, expecially communication.

First off, all the people that work there try real hard. the Captain and his crew tried very hard to make the cruise comfortable despite tropical storm Alieen with 85 miles winds. However this is not a luxary cruise. Princess is must better and it is not in the class of Oceanic. This is about getting room service 1/2 hour late. taking over 30 minutes to get a workable hairdryer, losing dining ...

Almost a Luxury Cruise

I took this cruise because it was a James Beard Food Cruise. The suite offered very little I wouldn't pay extra for it. This is the second time I booked on this cruise line and was disappionted both times. The communication was not good aboard the boat. There were activities that were not listed except if you found something in small print so you had to make sure you kept up. Examples the ...

Regent Has Fallen Pretty Far

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Seven Seas Voyager

We just returned from the June 26, 2016, Journey To The Arctic cruise on Voyager. This was my first cruise with RSSC since 2009, and my husband's first time. Overall, we had a great cruise because of the fabulous itinerary. Greenland was amazing, and we are so glad we got to see it. However, for a cruise that cost us $34,000, we had too many issues and these need to be addressed by Regent - by the ...

A bit dissapointed

My husband and I went on the Star Breeze for a trip around Ireland and Scotland. The itinerary was wonderful and we enjoyed the excursions that the cruise ship laid on ; they were VERY expensive but well run and first class all the way. We stayed in Suite 6. It was a two room suite, not too bad until you went to the windows. Outside our bedroom was a very restricted view ( lifeboat hanging ...
