Very satisfied with first cruise on Celebrity

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Celebrity Eclipse

We have been on approximately 25 cruises on maybe 7 different cruise lines, but never on Celebrity before our cruise to Iceland from Dublin. It was the itinerary that attracted us and Dublin and Iceland did not disappoint. Prior to the cruise we were advised not to come to the pier for embarkation until 4:30. we spent the day touring Dublin, and we were lucky enough to have made a ...

We are long time Silversea Cruisers. First time on Silver Muse. It clearly represents a new direction for Silversea. we are not sure who the cruise line is marketing too. Let me explain. Gone is the elegant dinning room, and in its place is a collection of dining options. While they represent a more modern approach to the dining experience, the new venues lack any sense of the wow factor. ...

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Azamara Quest

We love Azamara. On this trip, the crew was absolutely fantastic, as always. As a matter of fact, 3 of the bar tenders remembered us from previous cruises with them. The whole bar staff in the Living Room was fantastic. The casino bar was also great. There is definitely a family feel to the crew and it makes the guest feel welcomed and special. Itinerary was good - Ireland, Scotland, ...

Review from a first-timer! To give some context, our cruise experiences have run the gamut ā€“ from mass market (RCL, NCL & Princess) to premium (Celebrity) to luxury (Seabourn and Silversea) and on ships of a wide variety of sizes from the 10K ton Seabourn Legend to the 140k ton Navigator of the Seas. We cruise on the larger ships with our children (now 19 and 23) and the smaller, more upscale ...

This was our sixth Windstar cruise and our first on the Star Legend. I really wanted to submit a glowing review as I have in the past; unfortunately, this cruise was not quite up to the Windstar standards we have come to expect. Embarkation was easy and smooth; however, for the first time in all our cruises we were not greeted by any ship's officers (usually the Captain). This "invisibility" ...

This was our fifth cruise with WS lines. While we still enjoy the ambiance, crew, small ship cruising, some of the changes are not for the better. There is now a "harder sell" mentality for the spa, shop and excursions. The port excursion prices are exceptionally high for what they provide, which is most unfortunate. We have been able to book independent excursions that offer more time and sights ...

Apologies in advance for the length of this report but it was difficult to summarise my experiences without losing some useful facts. Getting There - On the 14th July I embarked the ship at Dublin for the 10 day British Open at Muirfield voyage, this included return flights from/to Heathrow. British Airways were the chosen airline and both flights (my return being from Hamburg in Germany) were on ...

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Azamara Journey

This cruise was the first of B2B cruises which took my wife and I from Dublin to Lisbon and then onto Nice. We cruised on the Quest in 2009 (Best of Italy) and last year from Singapore to Athens and then B2B to Rome so it was hard not to draw comparisons. Close your eyes for a minute and you could be either ship but there were differences. The excellent standard of service that we expected of ...
