The watered down orange juice at the embarkation terminal set the standard for the whole cruise. Embarkation was disorganized as was just about everything else to do with this cruise. It was our first cruise and mostly certainly our last with MSC.
Everything seemed to be geared towards squeezing every last euro out of passengers.

Our travel agent recommended this cruise a bad choice.
We have done up to 20 cruises and have to say MSC are the worst cruise line we have been on. Our room as fine , the food is catered for Italians, the staff was rude especially when the Italian staff realised you weren't Italian they just avoided us. We chose this cruise to see this part of the world but while the ports were worth a visit the organised trips with RC were grossly over priced !!!!!
Vision of the Sea is tired but the main crib is with the greed of RC like other reviews i found the amount of times we had to say no to photographs is out of order.

I have just returned from a 7 day cruise out of Dubai on RCCL's Vision of the Seas.
She is an older ship that carries 2,500 people. A size and age that I usually love. Sadly, Vision was rather tired. Despite the best attempts of the crew to keep her clean it never felt quite like they had succeeded.

We decided to try Royal Caribbean Arabian Gulf cruise because the weather in the area would be warm but not to hot at this time of year.
The embarkation was not too bad, we arrived in Dubai about 7.30 after an overnight flight from London and had to wait till 11.00 to embark. the luggage arrived in our cabin about 6 PM.

We went with friends who chose this cruise as they liked the itinerary, in particular, India.
We found the public areas too crowded & too noisy. I guess you get what you pay for & this "Freestyle" cruise was obviously not a good choice for us.
The 3 NCL excursions we took in India were very poor.

Just got back from 21 day cruise on Norwegian Star Dubai to Singapore. Here are my thoughts and observations.
1. Great itinerary from Dubai, UAE/Oman, down the west cost of India, Sri Lanka. Malaysia, Phuket to Singapore
