Never again

Review for a Asia Cruise on MSC Lirica

We decided on this cruise as we did a similar itinerary last Xmas & new year with Celebrity. Don’t know where to start with MSC Lirica. Food in the dinning room was inedible. Every item ordered was either too tough, burnt or not what was on menu. My husband and I decided to sit at a table of eight. Guests were trying to eat meat then spitting it out as they could not chew ...

The worst cruise line experience

Embarkation seemed smooth but they didn’t put our drinks package on our cruise card so had to queue again onboard ship to rectify - no apologies. Headed up to pool deck and first thing we encounter is a pile of vomit with cones round it and most of ship cordoned off and being painted. Food in Bora Bora lacking in variety and often cold. Lot of ship off limits for Yacht Club. Then had the ...

Disappointing Cruise in UAE

Review for a Middle East Cruise on MSC Splendida

This was my first cruise, and it was disappointing overall. The food was horrible (except for the meal I paid extra for, at the Butcher's Cut specialty restaurant onboard). Even the "pizza" in the buffet area was lousy. So many other people onboard commented that this cruise line's food offerings are lousy compared to other cruise lines they've used. Also, is MSC Cruise line so desperate that it ...

Nightmare cruise

We chose this cruise because we wanted to go to Petra and the Dead Sea. However, from the minute we were picked up from the airport in Dubai, things went horribly wrong. We were a family of six adults. This was our 13 th cruise with RC and will definitely be our last. We were supposed to have special needs assistance as arranged by Royal specialist services as I have mobility problems and my ...

The review made earlier on the exact cruise is spot on, its as if the person has taken the words out of my mouth. We chose the cruise because of a once in a lifetime ports of call. Believe me it was once in a lifetime...…….the ship itself was lovely and clean, the food was atrocious, cold or tepid, we never saw any chefs using a thermometer to test the so called hot food. A complaint was made to ...

We did a back to back cruise on Msc splendida to the uae. Booked in August 2017 for sailing March 2018. We were told one week before sailing that we had been upgraded to a better quality cabin, however, one of their staff failed to see it was a back to back cruise and put us in different cabins for the two weeks. Customer would not change the cabins even though it was their fault. When we ...

Horrible experience - The worst cruise ever

My wife and I chose this cruise because we had never been to the United Arab Emirates and also looking at the photos the ship seemed so beautiful (as indeed it really is). Unfortunately, the joy of this new cruise was immediately interrupted when we saw the quality of the services offered on board. Only the cleanliness of the rooms and service staff was at the level of other cruises with ...

COSTA lotta money!

Our worst cruise ever and, as from the UK , little attention was paid to any of our grievances. Italians came first every time. Some ship announcements were only given in Italian. The Hospitality staff had no idea what the word meant and were constantly rude and unhelpful. The food was awful and the buffet had often run out of food and no attempt was made to replenish supplies. There was no ...
