Booked thru NCL ... the 4 day trip was totally amazing! The weather was hot but we didn't care ... we learned more about Alaska than we ever could have learned... the tour director, Alex was amazing. Alex was with us for 4 days & so was the bus driver Alicia ... both were absolutely perfect... explaining everything we-could expect, what to do, where to be when & how long things would take! ...

The park itself is great - 5 stars. You will likely see wildlife and you might see Denali. (Only about 30% of visitors see it; the other 70% see clouds covering it.) You have to tour on a school-type bus because the park road is limited in size and in number of vehicles per day, in order to preserve it. The bus was crowded with not a lot of leg room and it was hard to take pictures through the ...

The McKinley Chalet Resort was charming, loved the woodsy cabin look. The restaurants were good. The rooms were spacious and clean. The only downside is it was quite warm and there was no air conditioning. The fan they provided brought little relief. I would recommend they add wall unit air conditioners for such times. It was extremely uncomfortable. The Denali Land Tour was fabulous with ...

The trip into Denali was a fun filled day! We did not get to see a bear but several busses did. We saw many Moose, Carabou, and Mountain Sheep. The driver kept saying just around this curve we might be able to see Mt. Denali. As happens most of the time it was cloud covered. We stopped at the last rest area and turned around to head back. We had gone a short way when she said she would pull over ...
