We found a new attraction near the cruise shipo dock. It was the RFDS (Royal Flying Doctor Service) museum. It has two main sections - the bombing of Darwin by the Japanese in World War II; you can experience it using virtual reality. The second was the history of the RFDS. The staff was very friendly and it has only been opened about 6 months. I would encourage everyone to visit this attraction when in Darwin. Read Less

Been here 3 times before but returned under own arrangements to Aviation Museum - well worth the visit. Helpful people especially on the local buses. Otherwise an ordinary town.

Rather than explore Darwin, we were forced to spend the remainder of the day in a mall making alternate arrangements. Read Less

We used the Darwin HoHo bus to sightsee the town and some countryside. Then we walked a bit in the downtown area and stopped in a cafe. Other than the heat, it was very pleasant.

We hadn't been to Darwin for 20 years and it is looking great. The walk up to the city is an easy mine from the The Port.
