Curacao was a gorgeous island with beautiful architecture. We went to Landhuis Chobolobo Distillery. We took a taxi, which was $8 each way per person. The tour was $25, which included two drinks. It was also supposed to include gelato, but it was not open. It was delicious and an interesting tour. ...

We went in to Caracao with no expectations. Our plan was to walk the city and markets, walk the Queen Emma bridge, and if we had extra time, head to a beach. To start off our day the port area was very nice with a wandering pathway into markets and the RIF Fort area. We passed through headed to the Queen Emma bridge only to learn that it was closed for refurbishment (sad we missed walking it). We ...

Curacao was our favorite port. We had a ship sponsored excursion that was a bus ride to the northern and western parts of the island where we got to see and explore at one of their national parks. The guide provided history and cultural information to us along the way. As it was school holidays, our tour went quicker (less traffic) than typical, so the driver took us on a tour of the city as ...

Curacao-rented a car from Smart Wheels- they have a stand at the port and we took off straight from there, drove over to downtown, parking near the pedestrian bridge on the street is free. We spent some time in the morning walking through the downtown and our kids played on the fun playground there. Then we drove toward Playa Porto Mari, stopping at the flamingo lagoon, which had exactly one ...

Wonderful private tour with Joseph and Puff from Gone Caribe. The geological features at the national park with the blow hole and cliffs were breathtaking. We loved snorkeling with the turtles and wish we could have spent more time here. Puff took us to some beautiful beaches. And the historic area of the port is beautiful. We went looking for flamingos, but the sun was setting and they were hard ...
