the next time I'm here I'm a think about taking it to her out of the town as I've been here twice now. The town is very poor and I try and buy things from the vendors or take a pedicab tour. But next time I might look to get out of the city or just stay on the ship.all the tourists seem to have very long transport to and from which I dislike. But I would hate to see this ship pull out of the sport ...
We got off the ship and walked to the town, about a 5 minute walk just outside the port. Many venders along the streets selling their goods. We then got a pedi cad (bicycle with seats for us), our person worked hard to move 4 adults around the town but he went everywhere we asked him. He took us to a few markets and then to the beach, waited for us and then back to the port. We felt very safe here ...
Visited mud post and cathedral in Leon. Mud pots were a disappointment. Cathedral interesting. Especially climbing to the top. A lot of locals harrassing tourists to buy trinkets. ...
