I did a self-directed tour. Walked around the town and window-shopped. Sat in the little park and then walked up the hill to see St. Colman's Cathedral. There are a few steep steps, but worth the visit.

We booked a small van tour of Blarney & Kinsale with eCoach tours and had a great day. Ian was our guide and was delightful. I would highly recommend this tour company.

We didn't find much to do in Cobh; spent a little time shopping. We found it easy to use the Irish Rail to go to Cork for the day to find more to do.

Fun city to explore right off the ship. Train takes off right below the ship to Cork, but only goes every 30 minutes, so be aware. Easy to walk around and find a pub for a drink or a bite to eat.

Very nice port. We walked off the ship. Many of the ports had a museum about the Titanic. Very small port.

Went to kiss the blarney stone of course! We rode in a chartered bus. Our guide was super knowledgeable about everything Ireland. The castle is magnificent. It is not only beautiful but it is in such terrific shape that you can envision how it once was a working castle. Kissing the stone was a bit of a challenge. I am 56 years old and in relatively good shape. To kiss the stone, one must lay on their back and bend backwards while holding onto metal bars. There is a guide there to help (who rushes you a bit) but it was still a challenge. This excursion is not for those who cannot navigate a tight spiral staircase or for those who cannot do a "half" backbend. Read Less

We did an excursion through Princess. Not much to do at the port of Cobh but the country side was some of the prettiest we saw in Ireland. Oh, and the 99 ice cream!!!!! Yuuum!

Cork Highlights and the Old Jameson Distillery. Although the distillery was full of tourists, the folks know how to take care of the tours which are very interesting to say the least. Even complete with a tasting adventure.

We used an outside excursion (Paddywagon). We saw Blarney Castle, the woolen mills and Kinsale but we were not in port long enough to see much of Cork. I would recommend Paddywagon.
