I went on the "Christchurch Town & Country" tour which included a visit to the Manderley Farm which was very nice and I enjoyed the scenic drive to and from the town. Port of Akaroa. It takes about 1.5 hours by road to get to Christchurch from Akaroa. Beware shops selling “NZ Jade”. Some of them (including the one where I was trapped) don’t tell you that they are selling Canadian Jade. This is disgraceful, unconscionable behaviour. ...
