Ducked into Hyatt Hotel to avoid aggressive sales pitches on the street. Hotel got us a white taxi out to Corniche Mall - beautiful area but no food due to Ramadan.

Great city tour to see mosque, temple and church. Although did not understand why we did not see the museum next to the mosque at the same time as the mosque. We went back at the end of the tour. I guess to kill time.

We had Imperial Rabat and was disappointed because we only saw the outside of the mosque. Not recommended this excursion.

we enjoyed Casablanca, but did not feel very safe, were very grateful for our taxi driver who said 'he was our bodyguard as well as taxi driver' and this turned out to be true, the Mosque was beautiful.

I was most excited to go to Casablanca before tour, check Africa on my bucket list, but seeing Mosque was just OK, and town kind of dirty with not much to see. Many people on boat were not impressed with Casablanca..

Casablanca, Morocco was our first stop and the only one that was outside the EU, others all took Euros. We booked a private all-day tour with Under the Moroccan Sun which was highly recommended by Trip Advisor. The NCL excursions were all in motor coaches and we wanted a smaller tour. The tour was very good, we were pleased with our guide and driver. Only hitch is if you use a private tour, you have to depart the security area to where the non-NCL tours are parked. Our tour went to the Hassan II mosque in Casablanca, very impressive and photogenic. Then we drove 1 hr to Rabat for the rest of our tour. Casablanca looked to be somewhat dirty and very crowded whereas Rabat was much nicer. There we went to the Royal Palace and several tombs and monuments. Then we drove down the coast back to Casablanca viewing the beaches of Morocco. Our guide took us to a Moroccan lunch which was good – they took credit cards or US dollars or Euros. Read Less

I took the tour to Casablanca with a stop at the mosque. The mosque is the highlight of this port call as the city is pretty run down. Ensure your tour includes entry into the mosque as I hear some only got to see the outside. Also, the tour is kind of faced paced, so those with mobility issues should really consider another tour. We walked through part of the city's markets and spent time inside one of the carpet stores, where they rolled out countless rugs for the group to consider buying. A few of our fellow travelers got cornered in the building with a high pressure sales pitch, so beware and be firm if you are not interested. Read Less

The Mosque tour was a very interesting exposure to the Muslim faith. The Detail and effort put forth in its construction are spectacular. Lunch at “Ricks Cafe” was very good and a memorable experience We were brought to a Fruit and vegetable market no purchase was allowed since we could not bring food onto the ship. So it was pointless . also we were brought to a Berber carpet store where we were under the impression we would see how these Magic Carpets were made. Instead it was nothing more than a High Pressure sales pitch commercial, lastly we were taken to a Snake oil salesman who tried to encourage our group to purchase various cosmetic oils. When no one stepped up to make a purchase the salesman turned a bit sour and left. Read Less

I had been told not to expect much in Casablanca but the Mosque was amazing. Definitely pay to tour inside. It is worth it. Our tour included travelling to Rabat but the tour operated contracted an incompetent driver who started to drive to Marrakech instead. When we finally reached Rabat we had to turn around as a 1.5 hour journey took almost 3 hours. Tour operator totally refunded our money and said that they wouldn't use the contractor again.
