Western Caribbean & Central America - Air Conditioning too high

Review for Braemar to Caribbean - All

A good cruise and I was really looking forward to it, but was affected by the dreaded cruise cough. I believe this was due to the air conditioning being too high. In the evening before going into the Neptune Lounge I and many others had to put a scarf and cardigan on. I did mention this to customer services but did not get any feedback. If anybody has any hints on how to avoid this would be good ...

2-5 Cruises

Age 70s

We took this cruise for two reasons: the great itinerary (initially 6 port stops in 6 days, although the last one in St. Maarten was cancelled after the Sept. hurricanes), and the fact that it was one of the only cruise ships departing from the Dominican Republic where we were spending 3 more weeks on this trip. All-in-all, we weren’t disappointed. We expected that the other passengers would be ...

This was the first cruise my partner and I had been on. We were unsure of what to expect but this ship was recommended to us by a friend of the same age so thought we would give it a go. The ship is quite small but I think this was a good thing as it meant things were accessible and we got to know both the staff and other passengers. The ship is on the older side and did creek at times, ...

10+ Cruises

Age 60s

This cruise was the first part of a cruise and stay holiday, and we were a little bit apprehensive about going back to an old ship ( a very old ship) we started our cruising holidays on thomsons and the defunct air tours ships but 48 cruises later and cruising on all the major cruise lines, it was a step back to the celebration, we paid extra for one of the balcony cabins, and it was well worth ...

This cruise ship is one of the smallest in the fleet, and therefore does not have a large amount of things to do. The interior is tired but they have updated the carpets and curtains. Accommodation: Typical inside double room, with 2 single beds, and a butler who does a great job, and always kept the cabin clean & tidy. Entertainment: Every night there was a musical show, usually ...

This was our first cruise on Costa. We were apprehensive because we never cruise on Costa before. Favolosa is a beautiful and great boat, maybe the decor is a bit to roccoco for my taste but the service is top notch. We were upgraded to a suite with balcony which quite large, with many closets, a great bath with 2 sinks and a jacuzzi tub and shower. As were on a suite we had a choice of ...
