My husband and I were due to take this cruise at Christmas and New Year but was called for replacement hip surgery so we put it back until mid February by which time he was doing extremely well. I had upgraded our cabin to deck 8 (bridge deck) and also took the all inclusive drinks package at £798 so, all in all, this was not a cheap cruise. However, once on board we were invited to upgrade ...

We picked this cruise as a package leaving La Romana in the Dominican Republic a one week cruise and then a one week stay at the Be Live Canoa in La Romana. At almost every port new travellers boarding the ship, and every time a safety drill onboard even as late as10:30pm at night blasting in our rooms even us who already did our drill on the first day. Food menu is basically always the same day ...

Spent a fortnight on the Celebration in the Caribbean from 20th Dec 2017 to 3rd Jan 2018 and to be honest it was a great holiday apart from the very very poor entertainment from the cheesy dancers performing the same old shows in the Broadway Lounge and not at a decent level at all ,they were badly out of sync and the sound was rubbish ,to say they had some technical issues was not inspiring any ...

We were only on this ship last year travelling from Jordon to Dubai and most things were ok. Been on it before around the Med and that cruise was ok too. However this last Caribbean cruise was extremely disappointing! Even more so when THE PRICE DROPPED BY £600!! What kind of incentive is there to book early when they pull a stunt like that?? The embarkation etc went quite well and ...

This was my first experience and will probably be my last due to Costa Favolosa. At first impression, this was a WOW. But the good impression lasted two days only. This ship is very poorly administered and lacks organization. 2,000 people eating at the same time is very hectic. The food was mediocre and not varied at the buffet, same food all week. We were charged for water. I can understand ...

Just came back from my first Costa cruise and comparing with Royal Caribbean, this is definitely way below...Just to summarize: *Bad service overall, worst attitude I've ever seen on a cruise ship. People unhappy, just walking around without a single hello. Had to clean a table many times to sit down, even though employees were close by, they didn't bother. Once, I asked them and they told me ...

The MSC cruise a few years ago was my worst cruise, this COSTA was the second worst cruise I ever did. After booking I read all the bad reviews so I had contacted the cruise line and they did charge 75% of what I paid so I decided to go anyway. After the MSC I thought it could not be worse, and I was right, second worst! Mainly the food is terrible. Breakfast ordinary and long lines waiting ...

This was one of the worst vacations that I have ever been on. We are a family of 4 with 2 children, ages 6 and 8. Every port we came to we could not wait to get OFF the ship. The food is terrible and every day it's the same thing in and out. You literally gag walking through the buffet every morning because you are so disgusted and sick of the food. Everything costs extra $. You can't ...

Embarkation was slow and a little chaotic but bags were waiting at our cabin. Don't stay in 8312, we were disturbed by the constant scraping of chairs in the cafe above. Cabin kept immaculate by our steward, towels changed daily and beach/pool towels on request. Plenty of storage, surprisingly spacious and a large comfortable bed. Very few TV channels. Tatty balcony and scratched windows. Main ...
