We toured on our own, first taking one of the convertible cabs to Anacapri to stroll around and tour the Villa San Michele with excellent views, then took the bus to Capri Town to explore the piazza and surrounding areas, as well as the Gardens of Augustus with breathtaking views, then rode down to the Marina to wrap up the day. ...

Took the ferry, just 5 minutes walk from the terminal, tickets some €.21,50 one way to Capri, took abt 50 minutes. Was our first visit to this island. Nice to see but very much overcrowded by tourists only. ...

A relaying trip around the whole island. The boat was very open and informal. Our driver and guide share a very full narrative of the island and life here. This excursion does not include the Blue Grotto (and we chose it for that reason), but we were taken to 3 or 4 lovely grottoes on the back side of Capri.
