It's a nice city. We stayed here for a while before the cruise and took our time to see the different parts of the city. Get a sube card for public transportation (you get it at a subway station). You can use it for bus, train and subway and you only need one card even if you are with more then one person. We used it to get to the different parts of the city by bus and subway, and we took a train ...
