We prearraged and paid for transfers to and from the airport and cruise port through Welcome Pickups, so we never needed to convert dollars to pesos, and never had to wait in line for a taxi or worry about taxi scams. Unfortunately we arrived the same day and time as the football team after winning the world cup. We got stuck at the airport for half a day, no taxi cabs could or would come to the airport.
