We took a taxi to center of Bruges and enjoyed taking a canal cruise and walking around this charming town. We visited the Church of our Lady and saw Michelangelo's Madonna and Child. Enjoyed a lovely lunch at an outdoor restaurant across from the Belfry in town square. Highly recommend getting a waffle from Chez Albert and buying chocolates from Dumon Chocolatier. ...

Zeebrugge - Again, we're simple people (who LOVE to walk) so we literally just walked to the pier and found a lovely boutique shop, where I got a gorgeous scarf for my mother... and then we met a cafe owner who used to work on the ship!! She married another crew member and they settled down, had a child, and opened up a cafe in Zeebrugge near the pier! They specialize in Filipino food since she is ...
