We chose the tour to Medieval Ghent and this was superb. Beautiful city, small enough to walk around and be charming all in one, with plenty of different places to buy souvenirs made locally. An hour and a half of free time on top of the tour meant we could fully appreciate the city centre, get everything we wanted and have a local beer and snack before going back. 10/10 well worth every penny, ...

The port town (Zeebrugge) was not expecting us. They only had 2 diners open, no public restrooms, and a chocolate factory with just one young lady working. There is nothing to see or do in Zeebrugge and the signage is not clear on how to get to Brussels or Brugge. ...

Zeebrugge - lovely day on day one. Shuttle buses to the terminal and for the train to Brugge. The shuttle takes 25 minutes to Blanknburg and you get the train to Brugge there. Due to 45mph winds forecast the captain advised us late evening that we would now stay in Zeebrugge for another day instead of going to Rotterdam tomorrow. This means one less day at sea which is good. The plan is still ...
