Another great walking city - we booked the "express bus" instead of taking the ship shuttles (half the cost!) They both let passengers off outside the city which was a 40 minute drive from the port of Zeebrugge. Once you get off the ship, there is a free shuttle bus to take you to the gates of the port. There you will find taxis to take you to Bruges. Cost is 50 euro each way, but most taxis fit 8 people. Bruges is a great Medieval town, loaded with charm, canals, fries, beer, and chocolate. We enjoyed them all. Have a beer at the Markt and listen to the bells from the Belfry, amazing. ...

We chose to take the shuttle to the tram, then to the train. Although it was only 9 Euros per person verses the available shuttle to Bruges for 20 Euros per person, we should have taken the shuttle.
