We did the Freedom Walking Trail. It was lengthy and rainy. The tour guide made a couple mistakes on the timelines, but some us knew better but didn't say anything. ...
Lots to do and see in Boston. If you haven;t been, take a tour or at least the Hop On Hop Off. We walked to the seaport which is mostly office buildings and condos. But there are some good seafood restaurants. We had lobster rolls and chowder at Legal Seafood. ...
Boston is a great city with excellent transportation. We went to the JFK Library and Museum on the UMass campus. It was a wonderful place to visit. We went on our own, not with the ship's excursion. We were just in time for the free tour and it was informative and interesting. I'd go again it was so good. ...
Disembarked in pouring rain & walked 5 minutes to our hotel for a few days. The Seaport is a nice area, clean, easy walking. Did no organized activities here - we took ride-shares to Boston Common area & the Freedom Trail area for fairly cheap & explored on our own. ...

Other than the Red Sox losing and the T breaking down en route to the game (and thus some exorbitant Uber fares), you could ...
We took the duck boat tour and the included motor coach tour of Boston. We have been to Boston several times previously so there was nothing new in these excursions. If one has never been to Boston, the walking tour of the Freedom Trail would likely be more interesting. ...
Scenic Salem and Historic Witch Museum - Our daughter once lived in Boston and we should have known the traffic would be a nightmare. More time was spent on the bus than at the "attraction" of the Historic Witch Museum. This converted church is nothing more than a tourist trap, with its cattle-herding process of handling the patrons. The supposed entertainment consists of old and musty ...
If you like visiting a midsize City this is for you. However we were here during the 4th of July weekend as everyone else was too. Very busy place. Also it rained and we were told or implied that we could see the fireworks from the ship. That was not the case all we saw was very dense fog. ...
Didn't get to spend much time here, but took a short tour that was very informative and interactive. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and the bus driver was amazing! He handled the traffic and construction like he was driving a Cadillac, not a huge tour bus! Very impressive! Enjoyed every minute. ...
