We caught a dolmus to Gumusluk (ancient port of Myndos) where we swam at the beach and heard about the island where Brutus planned Caesar's murder. We had a great time here - shopped a bit and then took a taxi 15 Euros to the beach. There was three of us so we shared the cab and the cost. We had a great time at the beach - no fees for the lounges or the umbrellas but we ate at the nearby restaurant/outside cafe. The food was delicious. ...

Cruise company provided shuttles to the Castle of St Peter. However, the frequency was very low, about 3-4 shuttles each way all day! Not too long a walk, but it was HOT. The castle is interesting and has a wonderful collection of antiques recovered from shipwrecks.
