We toured Bergen on our own without doing an excursion. We could walk from the ship to the fish market in 15-20 minutes or so, quite easily. Chose this cruise for the itinerary and highly recommend. We enjoyed all of the ports but must say when you get off in Bergen, make a note of where the ship is docked as many of us had trouble finding our way back.
