Great itinerary

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Viking Sea

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary and able to add on Iceland. We were able to visit a number of ports in the Baltic and also visit Iceland for a few days. We had a deluxe veranda. Also we had a few days with drizzle, we had a great time. Iceland and the inner circle, Gulfvoss Falls and the Blue Lagoon was great. We flew to Bergen and got on the ship for the cruise travelling to ...

Great ship for cruisers

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Viking Sea

Chose this cruise because of prior experience with Viking and the desire to see and explore the ports and countries featured. The cruising part of the trip was excellent. Beautiful ship, great staff; delicious meals; very good entertainment; comfortable and relaxing with a variety of activities to appeal to almost everyone. However, the "exploring" part of the trip did not live up to our ...

So many beautiful spots to put up your feet and relax

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Viking Sea

I chose this cruise for the itinerary, the appeal of the beautiful ship and because we enjoyed our Viking river cruise so much last year. Embarkation was not a good experience. Scanner would not allow my husband to pass as he removed more and more items. Turned out, he had a packet of hand sanitizer in his pocket (restaurant variety). Annoying start when you are tired. The ship is the ...

Beautiful ship, excellent food, ups and down on tours aboard the Viking Sky

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Viking Sky

Scandinavia was a bucket list item. The Sky covered 8 countries, seven of which were new to me. Quality of tours and guides was not consistent. In general not enough time was allotted to allow for photography and/or cursory shopping. On some tours we felt rushed. Conversely, the service aboard the Sky in all areas was top notch. The common areas of the Sky are relaxing. The spa was awesome with ...

Traveled with sister who had been on this line before. Food delicious. Choices of restaurants very good. Port talks and lectures very informative. Entertainment very good. Service excellent in all areas. The ship and room were lovely. So nice that all rooms have a veranda. The spa was wonderful. They had areas that I have never seen on a ship before like the ice room. We ...

Like An Assisted Living Country Club Afloat

As with most Viking cruises, the food, staff, service, and facilities are overall excellent. A significant number of passengers appear to be from the town of Unaware in the Great State of Oblivious. It is less noticeable on the river cruises where there are far fewer passengers, but it is a very glaring problem on a much larger ship. They either don't care or don't sense that there are other ...

Great cruise along Norway's coastline

We chose this cruise as part of a eight-day tour of Norway. We enjoyed every minute of the cruise. The ship was well maintained and had been recently updated. Our cabin on Deck 5 was larger than expected, and the staff was very helpful. The breakfasts were outstanding -- a large buffet each morning. Several dining options for lunch and dinner. The panoramic view from the upper deck was great ...

I heard of this trip through a friend who had taken and recommended that I take it. I had been to Iceland a few years back and loved it. I wanted to see the Northern Lights as I didn't get to see them in Iceland. We were able to experience spectacular Norwegian scenery and choose from the many excursion offered. Although there was no entertainment on board, Hurtigruten did keep us ...

Best chance of seeing Northern Lights

Review for a Norwegian Fjords Cruise on Richard With

We are currently on the MS Richard With on the 12 day Bergen - Kirkenes - Bergen trip. Overall very happy with the whole trip. Staff are friendly and the ship is warm, clean and comfortable. To sum up Cabin - we are in 370 star board side. It's a triple room but there are only 2 of us. It doesn't give us any more floor space but we do have towels and bedding for 3 people so plenty of ...

Following from a similar cruise last year on Polarlys we booked again on a different ship with an upgrade to a mini suite taking advantage of the added extras of private airport transfers, extra space, Internet access, a wine package including bottled water and (when we booked) an unlimited coffee package - which was later withdrawn with nothing else offered,. Neither of our private transfers ...
