We chose this cruise, because it essentially circled the English islands, including Scotland, Wales, Ireland, and England proper. Since it was a cruise, we only had to pack and unpack once, which is a huge plus. Viking arrange the airfare, which went well even though it was three hops to get to the starting point in Bergen, Norway.

Not only are there so many ancient sites (predating the pyramids) in the British Isles but was able to stand where my ancestors lived, sailed from, ruled, and died. Every port held its own magic. every tour guide knew their subjects and made sure all were comfortable.
