Belize has changed a lot in 12 years , wanted to go back to visit the Cathedral and to see if could get into what was the governors house. Way better then last time went. Still dont encourage guest to leave port unless on excursion. It is a 5 mile tender ride. Loading and unloading tinder takes a while. Read Less

I wish we didn't have to stop here. There is no beach here, at least not close by. They drop you off at a shopping plaza, you're ran in by water taxi, who by the way try to talk you into tips and what not (I don't mind tipping for good service, but don't pressure me into doing so). Once on the island, everyone had something to hand us, coupons, flyers, invitations, etc. and shop owners were like hawks standing over you while you looked. I didn't really feel safe here, and we were only in port long enough to grab a souvenir and leave. Read Less

Again it was just okay again money money money and that's pretty much it by this by this by this where's the culture where the people where can we sit down and hear a lot about about how they live all I hear is if you go away from the properties that were let off at you see a lot of people who are poor or struggling and by people not identifying with that I can kind of see why we are left at those type of shopping areas but it doesn't help make the trip any better Read Less
