Wonderful and easily-navigable city. Very pretty asnd well-maintained. Unfortunately, we did not have enought ime to see more than a couple of the thirty-plus museums it has to offer. Many good Swiis restaurants for shnitzel, sausage, and fondue. The bicylce riders were much less scary than in Amsterdam! ...
We did a short walking tour before boarding our tour bus to Lucerne, where we stayed two nights. The town was interesting enough, but after Strasbourg, Rudesheim and Requewhir it was hard to compete. Lucerne was by far our favorite town in Switzerland. Take the tour to Stanserhorn if you can. Stunning Alpine views! ...
