Decided to forgo the 2.5 hour bus ride into Bangkok and took the shuttle into Pattaya. This is a nice little beach town about 40 minutes from port. Unfortunately we spent most of the time waiting out the rain in a mall (nice mall but still a mall). Once the sun came out enjoyed strolling the beach. Much of the est of the town seems set up with a ton of bars and massage parlors. Most looked OK ...

5 hr round trip too far. Not really Bangkok when 2 hr drive away ...

We just took the shuttle bus for this city as I'm not sure there was a lot to see ...
