Baltimore to the Bahamas

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Enchantment of the Seas

This cruise was pretty inexpensive compared to other Royal Caribbean cruises. The ship was well kept along with great service from the crew. It didn’t seem there was a lot to do in the Bahamas, Grand Bahamas was a little shallow on activities unless you like water activities. Bimini also the same, the best island was Coco Cay which is a day on the beach, sandwich bites from food shacks, a large ...

Lovely Shipmates, Great Crew, Dated Ship, Sickness Outbreak, FIRE!

Leaving from Baltimore this cruise is on one of Royal's oldest ships in their current fleet, Enchantment of the Seas, invoking ideas that'll be dated, lack activities and in general be a boring ship, I'd say the opposite! This ship has some fun extra details due to its extension back in 2005, offering it's outdoor Oasis bar and a larger pool deck with see through floors to the passing ocean below! ...

7 DAY NEW YEARS CRUISE

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Legend

We had a large group of 30 people taking part in this holiday cruise. First time sailing out of Baltimore, we found the cruise port/terminal to be very well run, organized and clean. The Embarkation process was seamless and took no more than 20 mins including security. Once on board, our rooms were ready right away, we were able to set down our carry on luggage and make our way to the lunch ...

Had a Great Cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Legend

We were on the Legend for the October 23rd cruise to the Bahamas. We are by no means seasoned cruises. We are in our mid 50's and have cruised about 6 times overall. We traveled with my parents who are very seasoned cruisers and frequent cruises out of Baltimore due to the location of the port. Before I go into detail I will say we had a very nice time and did not have any major issues. ...

Perfect for Toddler's First Cruise

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Carnival Legend

We booked the Legend for its embarkation port (Baltimore is 1.5 hours from us), itinerary (just Bermuda - a place we've been before and LOVED), and size of ship as it was our 2-year-old's first cruise (and our first cruise as parents). I read a ton of reviews, looked at a ton of pictures, and watched a million videos - so I knew exactly what to expect from the ship. Embarkation was a breeze. ...

Port. Boarding and disembarking was seamless and organized. We love Baltimore port! Ship. The ship is showing her age and they are doing their best to keep her maintained but she needs a good refurb or to be scrapped/sold. Lots of rust even though they were constantly painting and doing their best to keep her tidy. Seemed to have a plumbing issue as there was a lot of hammering ...

Hubby and I chose this cruise because it departed on hubby's birthday (my idea) and the embarkation port was within driving distance (we do fly, but did not wish to this time). We have sailed on RCI many times, but have not been on this cruise line for seven years (preferring Celebrity). We have also sailed on NCL. The drive took around 2 hours but it was an easy drive from our home in ...

Just return from our cruise. We had a good time. The crew was perfect, such great service. However the cabin needs lots of love. Pros - Service - Food - Accessibility Cons - Cabin - Entertainment SHIP The size of the ship is perfect. You get around easily. The common rooms are very beautiful. You never feel crowded. However, it is due for a renewal especially the ...

Enchantment of the Seas - Showing its age?

Hello! I am, by no means, a "professional" cruiser. My wife and I have been on about 6-7 cruises over the last several years, so I think I've done enough to do a comparison. First off, I live in Maryland, so if you do have the means - leaving on a local ship is much easier than airfare to a port, etc. But I realize that some don't have that option. We were comped this cruise after our voyage on ...
