Took a tour of the Falls and the Elephants. Also toured one of the Bali Luwak coffee places. Very good coffee. The most expensive coffee in the world. Lots of assorted Teas to taste and purchase as well as Chocolate. Read Less

we arranged for a private tour with Lovina Bali Tours, our driver Yogi Samykha picked us up at the port of Benoa after a tender boat ride, we went Ubud silver market, Tengenuen Waterfalls and had lunch at a restaurant in Vissasa Retreat in Ubud very peaceful place. The traffic was a nightmare as it was a celebration day for Balinese people we made it back to the wharf in time to catch one of the tender boats back to the ship thanks to Yogis great driving skills. Port of disembarkation for me, and this was the most upsetting part of the cruise. It was raining steadily as we disembarked, and the Viking staff was not helpful at all. I had to insist on help down the wet, metal gangway and request and umbrella to shelter from the rain. The staff seemed more interested in getting us off the ship quickly rather than safely. The buses took us to a delightful resort, where the entire staff treated us royally. The accommodations and luncheon were great. I wished I had booked the resort to stay longer. Read Less

We stayed for 2 nights at the Mandapa Ritz Carlton before the cruise and would highly recommend it as an exclusive, peaceful and truly special experience. We did not take any excursions with Seabourn but arranged on our own to take the John Hardy Ubud workshop tour which we found to be very interesting and informative. Read Less

What little we saw of Bali was congested, dirty and disappointing. We hired a private taxi to take us around, and it was a far better value than the ship excursions. There was not enough time to see much, as the tender boat trips ate into much of our day. Read Less

we took a local taxi for 8 people and paid around £12.50 per person for the entire day. We visited the monkey forest, rice terraces and elephant sanctuary. A wonderful day at a fraction of the price that the ship would have charged. Read Less

This part of Indonesia is very poor and I did not see anything that remotely looks like a vacation spot of the world. I couldn't wait to get back on board as I did not feel safe with all the shacks and ill kept temples around. Never go back there Read Less

This is an overblown tourist town. We didn't join the tour but went on our own. Same with all other Indonesian town, get your own driver with car, negotiate the price and go from the port. The port is a little away from the town. You need transport. If you are adventure enough, get on a motorbike to go around town. It is quite lovely around Denpasar. Ubud is nice. Read Less
