Embarking on our first-ever cruise with Virgin Voyages aboard the Resilient Lady, my expectations were high, but what I experienced exceeded even those lofty standards. Let me start by saying, "WOW!" Virgin Voyages has set a new benchmark for cruising, and I can't help but sing its praises. 1. Email Communication: From the moment we booked our cruise, Virgin Voyages impressed us with timely and ...

My wife and I sailed from Auckland to Sydney on the Celebrity Edge in February 2024. We have been on multiple cruises with NCL, RCL and Princess but this was our first on Celebrity for our second New Zealand sailing (first was on the NCL Jewel). Our cabin was a CS (Celebrity Suite). We had a very positive experience, and even booked another Celebrity Edge Cruise in Alaska before we debarked the ...

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Azamara Onward

We are veterans of Azamara and the R ships having sailed on them for 25 years. The cruise did not disappoint. The itinerary was what we wanted with a lot of late nights and overnights in ports and days at sea on the back end. We were part of the World Cruise on the Onward. The usual things that we love about Azamara were terrific 1. surperior service for the crew from our butler to the Captain. ...

We enjoyed ourselves immensely. The service on board was uniformly excellent and the entertainment was superb. We had a spacious suite and a very attentive cabin staff. The meals in the specialty restaurants were excellent and inspiring and we were able to invite our friends to share the table with us on many occasions. The shore excursions were a mixed bag. Some had excellent tour guides who ...

This cruise was exceptional. From start to finish could not fault anything. Being a relatively new ship, it was in prime condition. Prepare to pile on the kilos because the food is amazing. You have many different restaurants to choose from, all were excellent. Tip, book into restaurants well before your cruise to guarantee a reservation. You can ‘walk in ‘ too but if the ship is full you ...

First Virgin cruise and I gotta say it exceeded my expectations based on past cruises I’ve done with Royal, Disney, etc. The quality of the food and the service was excellent. Love the unique product they offer in terms of different restaurants onboard. I’ll never go back to a set dinner time and buffets. Being adult only was incredible. Allowed for a relaxed and fun environment. Their app was ...

Excellent Way to Experience New Zealand and Australia

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Norwegian Spirit

This is our fifth NCL cruise. We keep coming back because the relaxed experience on the ship and flexible dining suit us. The itinerary from Auckland, New Zealand to Syndey, Australia was what drew us to this cruise. The ship only had 1,600 passengers (double occupancy is 2,050), so the Garden Cafe and Stardust Theater were rarely busy/filled. Note, though it was school holidays here, because ...

This is our first time in a Viking Ocean Cruise and the experience was amazing. First, the number of passenger is not too big (less than 1000) which makes the trip more enjoyable. No lines in the buffet, no crowd in the major areas. The meal is outstanding in quality and variety. The staff is very nice and professional. The shows in the theater are excellent. There are shore excursions included in ...

Choose because of the deals really. Quality and service was next to none. Nothing was too much trouble! Food was plentiful and delicious. Choice of Pantry, which was sort of like a food hall, but included in price was choice of three amazing restaurants. I have been to 5 star restaurants and the service, and some of the food, was on par. We were treated like royalty. The captain kept us updated ...
