Terrible experience. No 5 stars by far

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Silver Spirit

Chaos is the basic for this experience. Not only caused by the Covid restrictions but overall there’s a huge lack of quality in service, attitude and amenities. Considering people are paying at least over $1200,= per night, you are expecting the absolute best. What is delivered is a Royal Caribbean cut money policy where not the quality but the quantity is boss. Expect poor, poor beds and ...

NCL Jade Service Issues

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Norwegian Jade

The NCL Jade May 1, embarkation Anthens, round trip. The following issues occurred during the 7 night cruise. 1) Lack of communication that an antigen test was required before boarding, which was redundant due to the PCR test that was required before we could board. 2) Port being removed without prior notification until on board and reviewing itinerary. And notification that a 2nd PCR would ...

Ship needs a lot of work - lower your expectations

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Star Clipper

This was my fourth and probably last star clipper cruise. The clipper was recently placed back in service after a 2 year dry dock - where it seems it just sat with no real improvements. Decking was in horrible shape after 2 years of no use - some of which had broken materials and had to be taped off. Plumbing in our cabin didn’t work and needed to be fixed ( never really worked well but it did ...

Terrible customer service- never again

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

My husband and I have taken several cruises on NCL and were really becoming fans. However our most recent cruise did not at all turn out as we had hoped and paid and the customer service we received was absolutely abhorrent. We are completely done with NCL and recommend you should be too, unless you like to be belittled if you ever have an issue. We will be selling all of our stock, which we now ...

Customer Service is Poor

Review for a Greece Cruise on Norwegian Jade

Customer Service is poor and benefits are not transparent. When we first booked for a September sail date, we were told there were 15 days before departure for the "Peace of Mind” delay for our cruise. In July, with the virus still rampant, we rebooked for a November 2021 sail date which we assumed was still under the “Peace of Mind” policy. We then attempted to change the cruise sail date to ...

Avoid NCL if vegan or have food allergens

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Norwegian Jade

I would avoid NCL if you suffer from allergies/intolerance or eat plant based/vegan diet, its extremely difficult and stressful to eat on board. It became a hunt for food to sustain and never about pleasure of eating. Several weeks before the cruise we were asked to fill out allergen request. We were told that only food allergies would be accommodated not intolerances. NCL had also decided ...

Covid outbreak on Seanourn Ovation

Seabourn Covid

Currently on Seabourn Ovation and covid outbreak. My husband - double jabbed -pcr and lat flow negative before boarding is positive - along with many others. I’m confined to my cabin. First thing we were told to do was we did not need masks despite the ship having previously visited Mykonos and there reportedly being at least one case of covid on board. Funnily enough the Captain has a new ...

Very Unhappy

Review for a Greece Cruise on Celestyal Olympia

This ship is a refurbished Royal Caribbean ship that is in need of more refurbishment. My trip felt like more of a ferry ride, with passengers embarking and disembarking at many of the ports. There were very few Americans on board. While the cabin attendants were excellent, the rest of the service was definitely lacking. It was difficult to have our bread and water refilled in the dining room, ...

7 Nights Cruise 3 Continents – Celestyal Crystal

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Celestyal Crystal

User Avatar

7 Nights Cruise 3 Continents – Celestyal Crystal Ship – the ship is more like a ferry, very old & worn, basic and casual. We expected a very basic cruise and didn’t pack any evening clothes. Although there was the usual captain’s gala night, so there’s a dress code for that evening if participating. Cabin – the cabin was an ok size but the bathroom was tiny and much smaller than other ...

Disappointed

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Celestyal Crystal

Carbin - We had a 4 bed carbin, it was designed in a strange L shape. Although we booked a double bed, we ended up had 4 single bed. We had to sleep in a head to toe position. With the 2 ladders that goes up to the top bed, I had to squeeze and climb out of my bed everyday. Keep in mind, I am a petite 5.3' girl. The room was very tight, bathroom is even smaller. the corner shower with a shower ...
