Amazing cruise. A few small issues

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Resilient Lady

My husband and I had booked this cuise for our honeymoon and we are from Canada. This was our first time in europe or a real cruise so this was a very big trip for us! Overall we would highly recommend the cuise and are planning to take another. Arriving to board the cruise initially: They do not joke around about getting on at your scheduled time. If your time slot is 4 pm you do not get ...

Great Cruise

Gave 4 stars, because 5 is almost impossible. I don't understand some of the negative reviews. Oceania has been a great choice, especially for the price when compared with other cruise line offerings. Some people must expect everything to be absolutely perfect, which is really not possible. Complaints about the size of the bathroom? You should have checked the pictures and floor plan before ...

Great itinerary, mediocre ship

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Enchantment of the Seas

The itinerary of this cruise through the Greek islands was great! A stop almost every day. One day at sea towards Venice Italy. However the ship itself needs updating. Our room was in need of a bit of repair. The food was mediocre at best. The activities on board were mid as well. The cruise left us at a port that did not have transport options (Ravenna, Italy) and we need to pay for a 3 ...

I’ll start with the pros: Outstanding staff – wait, room and bar staff were all superb. Professional and attentive. Praise goes to Milton and Mike in the Atlas bar. The perfect dynamic duo, gracious and fun. Food was excellent. We dined in Discoveries every night. Varied selections each night along with standards to order. Delicious and beautifully presented. If you have a favorite wait ...

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Musica

We went to a 7 day cruise on MSC Musica starting from Piraeus in August 2023. While MSC Musica is neither the newest nor biggest cruise ship MSC Cruises has, we (mom and I) enjoyed the cruise. The itinerary is one of the best there is with Haifa, Santorini and Mykonos being the best destinations. Others were nice, too; I'd say that if you want an extra sea day, skip Kusadasi unless you really ...

This cruise is a very nice way to visit several nice and different places in a single trip. You can experience the greek islands, the ruins of efeso, jerusalém, cyprus. All wonderful and diverse experiences. You can visit the cradle of occidental civilization in a few days. We made the cruise with our two teenage sons and was a balance between education and amusement. They enjoy the night disco ...

Almost perfect, but not as great as our first Viking cruise in 2018

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Viking Sky

We made a poor decision to travel to Europe in the summer, partly because our preferred cruise to Buenos Aires was delayed by Covid for 3 years and we mistakenly believed Viking wouldn't refund our original payment. For that I can never forgive Viking. The cruise was basically fine and uneventful but seriously marred by extreme heat. Our first stop in Katakolon was a disaster - Viking should have ...

We travelled with 2 other couples, so was a great opportunity! We have never been to Greece prior, it was fun to explore the different islands and Bodrum, Turkey!! Food was very good, I believe we tried all the different restaurants. With table service in the Galley was interesting!! We haven’t experienced this before. Didn’t take in much entertainment, wasn’t a fan of what was offered. One ...

An overall exceptional experience for someone who prefers to fly direct. The entertainment was engaging, service above par, the cabins clean, and there was an endless "choose your own adventure" agenda daily while on-board. The dining options were great for my partner and I, however very limiting for any vegan or gluten-free sailors (2 of our guests). Late night dining offerings and to-go options ...

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Le Lyrial (Ponant)

The ship, food and staff were fantastic, and there were a couple of extraordinary meals. These were cooked by Rashid from La Mamounia in Marrakesh. However, the overall experience was marred by the wi-fi, which was appallingly bad. It was slow and didn't really function well. It also only allows one device to be connected at a time. In this day and age, good internet access is critical and ...
