We did the pre extension through Viking. We could’ve done it on our own, would’ve been cheaper. Amsterdam is an easy city to walk or use the tram. So much history, great museums and fun restaurants! ...
We've been to Amsterdam a few times so instead we took a ship tour to Delft, which I would recommend. Our bus tour drove slowly past some expensive homes and told us about the canals in Holland, we stopped at one of the old windmills for pics, then to a Delft pottery factory where we had a tour. We could watch a lady hand paint one of the larger pots. That was quite interesting and worth a visit. ...
Amsterdam was the final destination on our river cruise. It is a wonderful city. We stayed in our own choice of hotel, the Hotel Estherea on Singel St. in the heart of the historic district on a canal. The hotel was over-the-top wonderful and the city is chock full of history, museums and things to do. ...

The actual food on the tour, not so much. On our own we toured the Rembrandt House museum and the Anne Frank house. Both were excellent. Public transportation is very accommodating in Amsterdam. ...
