We took the tour to Luxor and the Valley of the Kings. It involves flying 90 minutes south of Alexandria. While you have a limited amount of time in Luxor, and no time in Alexandria, you're still able to see the Valley of the Kings and the Temple at Karnak. By taking this tour, you don't have to consider making another trip to Egypt unless you want to do a more in-depth type trip.

We did a panorama of the city and this gave an overview which was well worth the cost. It took a lot out of us, but you did see it all. My only regret was that we didn't go inside the library, but if they let us in, they probably would never have gotten us out.

We loved Egypt. We booked an overnight package with a private company called Memphis Tours. They met us at the Port and returned us the next day. They were very professional and I would recommend them. The Pyramids were better than I expected and I especially loved Sakkara. We did the Sound and Light in the evening and went to the Egyptian Museum the next day. This was followed by a visit to an ...
The city itself I found to be only moderately interesting however my travel partner went to the Pyramids and found them interesting. Frankly, I would be just as happy to watch "Return of the Mummy" in a movie theatre and not have to endure the long bus ride to and from the Pyramids.

Booked for a private tour with Ramses tours. Our guide, Yasser, was waiting right outside the beautiful Alexandria pier. Went to Cairo, saw Gizeh, Saqqara and Memphis, awesome!

We were dropped off in Port Said and visited Cairo. We were picked up later in the evening in Alexandria. Egypt was amazing. It is also the dirtiest place I have ever been and I was hustled by so many people -- including a police officer who expected a tip.

The Pyramids, need I say more. You are going to see them, so yer, they are cool. Getting there not so cool :)
We waited forever to get going on our bus. We were 3rd off the rank but quickly made it to the front. Our bus driver was one CRAZY driver, but at the same time awesome.
Takes pretty much 3 hrs to get there. We went to sakkara, Memphis & the pyramids. First 2 places were ok, you pass ...
We completed our Cairo and Alexandria tours with Nile Blue Excursions. You can reach them online at www.nileblueexcursions.com or through the Executive Manager, Ghada Kamal, by email ghada@nileblueexcursions.com.
The 2 day tour in Egypt was uneventful as far as any unpleasantries. We paid at the end of the tour in US dollars too. We are completely satisfied and would highly recommend them. ...
Too far to the real attractions. This port is mostly about Cairo since it is only used to get on a bus by most and go to the capital. It was a three hour bus ride to see the Pyramids and Sphinx and it was on very poor Egyptian roads. We left Alexandria around 9 AM and didn't return over 11 PM exhausted for the experience. Carior is quite dirty in parts, but seeing the sites was a treat. Lots of ...
