This was a 1st family holiday, booked by our daughter and SIL, travelling with our granddaughter and inlaws. We have all cruised many times before and after reading the poor reviews I went with very low expectations. I think many of the reviews are unfounded. This was our 5th P&O cruise and the 1st time on IONA. We travelled as a party of three, two adults and a teenager. Sadly I am unable to give a good review. Cabins are ok but if you don't put your sign on the door it won't be cleaned.. its apparently policy that staff can't go and clean unless you put a sign on your door... anyway.. you only get hand-wash, shower ...

The ship is very poor and needs a full refit. Lots of toilets out of order, hazard tape on floor, viruses on board. Main dining room up selling of food now if you want quality.
