Because we had sailed on Britannia before on her first transatlantic crossing felt we would like to try again.there had been a few issues before but P@O seem to have cured this.the resturant have improved staff and food , we ate in Jays section and he was so nice and professional that we requested to eat there everytime we ate in the Meridian resturant . All the ports where very nice, because we ...
We chose this cruise having enjoyed a similar cruise in 2015.Same ship, same time of the year but very different. 6 of us travelled together to celebrate a significant birthday and, as a group, we could enjoy each other's company and the facilities of the ship which made this a better experience than it would have been had we been on our own. The weather was pretty rough all the way to the ...
We chose this cruise for the Itinerary. We have done 38 cruises with many different cruise lines but this was our first with P&O. From reading boards before hand I was lead to believe this was a slightly up market cruise, better than celebrity and Princess but more traditional like Cunard. Having been on many of these lines I thought I knew what to expect.
Embarkation was good very smooth ...
We chose a last minute cheap offer 12nights around Canaries on Ventura....beautiful ship, good size inside cabin which was very clean and service from cabin steward top rate.
Excellent entertainment every night and freedom dining the best ever, but ding experience met our expectations especially Sindu.
All the staff very attentive but not in your face which we like.
I fell and banged my ...
Having read many cruise reviews and agree everyone's points are valid, here is my review of our 14 night cruise round the Caribbean.
We stayed the night before at Premier Inn Gatwick north and have stayed there many times. You get what you have paid for, very clean tidy and comfy beds.
We planned to leave the hotel at 7am as our flight wasn't until 11:10. Over night I received a email from ...
This was a 50th birthday present from my husband and I was not disappointed.
We were one of the last flights on the Saturday to join the ship, so late boarding, but they got us on board pretty fast after arriving at the port.
The ship layout was pretty easy as we had cruised with Princess the year before and Azura has exactly the same layout so pretty much knew the deck plan from day 1, ...
Myself my wife and our friends were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary’s and sailed on Azura 1st of November we were all thoroughly enjoying our cruise fantastic food great entertainment great excursions sadly on an excursion in St Lucia my wife fell and suffered a dislocated and broken ankle we were taken back to Azura and received medical attention from the onboard doctor.
Due to the ...
Due to the quite understandable cancellation of our Gulf cruise on Oceana we decided to book a Caribbean cruise on Azura. As my wife and I are not really ‘beach people’ this has never been particularly high on our bucket list. Prior to going on this ship I read some of the reviews on this site and began to worry about what I had let myself in for.
However, from our experience I now wonder if we ...
It was a great time to cruise with P & O on the Arcadia - 4 weeks away at the beginning of November when it was wet and cold in the UK. No flying, Southampton to Southampton via Madeira, the Caribbean and the Azores. Once the ship had sailed through the fog (the first couple of days) the weather was really good. Interesting ports of call and extremely easy to get ashore when in port.
The ship ...
Give Ventura another try as this was only cruise from Southampton for Oct school holidays.

Went to cabin which appeared to be ok
