The Britannia is a really nice ship with nice things on board. We really enjoyed it on this cruise but there were a few things that could have been made better. The Buffet on this ship has two main buffet stations that are quite big but usually only one of them is used. the only problem with the buffet is the layout of the food. Ice cream next to pasta? Sausages next to salad?!?!?!?!?!? Because of ...
I was a little hesitated to book this cruise given some of the more recent reviews were a bit mixed. However, I’ve just returned from a thoroughly enjoyable cruise with no significant complaints. It appears some of the die hard cruisers on here have been disappointed by some of the very minor changes P&O may have made with certain aspects. But in reality they will have no material impact on your ...
Just returned from a 7 day cruise around Croatia from Malta. Have used P and O prior on a cruise to the Caribbean about 10 years ago but was not aware how this cruise line has fallen into decline. The balcony cabin was exactly the same as we remembered as the decor and carpets seemed the same as 10 years ago. However no complimentary bottled water in the room (you have to buy your own which I ...
We chose this cruise due to its brilliant itinerary visiting 3 ports in Croatia (Split, Zadar & Dubrovnik) and one in Greece (Corfu). Initially we were supposed to go to Trieste (gateway to Venice & Slovenia) however few months before the cruise we were informed that Trieste would be changed to Corfu which was our first disappointment.
We flew to Malta from London Heathrow on Air Malta. There ...
This was our first time on P&O, having done many cruises with RC and Celebrity. We were disappointed pretty early on, to be honest.
The ship in parts is very nice and modern but in other areas it's very dated and even chlostrophobic. Weird fake grass up on deck which looks cheap and when wet, stays wet for a long time. Pools too small.
Cabin very dated - for a ship still relatively new I ...
So this is our 19th cruise and the 4th on p&o. 1st time on Azura and sadly it will be our last!
The entertainment and ship wide facilities are good. Nice layout, good pools, plenty of loungers.
So the best bits 5* for entertainment. The theatre is well equipped with amazing light and sound and the shows are excellent. Great dancing and some excellent vocals from the male lead singers and ...
We have used P&O several times before and were pleased and therefore excited to take the whole family this time. We are still in shock at the shocking deterioration since our last cruise.
App did not work for restaurant bookings, they were all fully booked before we realised.
Pools were emptied for repairs and too deep for smaller children
No staff resulted in not everything being open ...
We chose this cruise for our 40th wedding anniversary as we had never cruised before. We didn't pay for any excursions, we decided to do our own thing.
The food choice was excellent, the staff were all helpful, friendly and polite.
We enjoyed the Privateers, not to bothered about the girl group (can't remember what they were called) and the entertainment in the glass dome was okay although ...
Chose this cruise mainly for the itinerary and it didn’t disappoint
We flew to Malta from Bristol with TUI and it all went smoothly, we boarded not long after 11.00. We had packed some swimming costumes in our carry on luggage so could make quick use of the pools and hot tub as soon as we boarded (we changed in the spa changing rooms and staff offered a key for the locker to store our ...
We chose this cruise for our first family cruise 2 adults/ child 10 which was Southampton>Amsterdam>Southampton 4 nights to see if this was something we would want to do again but for longer.
We also liked the no fly option and were happy to drive there and leave our car with CPS ( no worries there)
First impression were good and we were able to straight to the buffet once on board.
Our ...
