We are avid cruisers having cruised many times. This was our first P&O Australia cruise AC (after Covid). BC we have done over 15 voyages. This time we only traveled with our youngest son 12 years old. We had an inside cabin. It was spacious and ample room to fit everything. The steward came in twice daily as per our request and kept our cabin clean and tidy. No complaints.
Embarkation was ...
We were looking forward to the Fremantle-Fremantle Kimberley Adventure Cruise and so decided to add this leg to our trip and no regrets! Albany & Busselton were wonderful. Unfortunately we didn’t get past Exmouth in the filling leg of the trip as the ship was diverted out to sea due to cyclone Isla and there went our Kimberley cruise. We stayed in two different rooms during this trip. Room 10154 ...
We chose the cruise for a short break
Food had limited choices unless you preferred Indian or Asian type dishes. Food bar area in pantry was so small very packed. Although wait staff were very polite other cruisers weren’t the same.
Customer Service was poor and hard to get a response from guest services when you did try in person you had to que for an hour.
Internet was a rip off you ...
We did a 14 day Adelaide - N Z - Adelaide cruise in March 2023.
While the cruise did have it's challenges a good time was still had.
Milford sound sail through was cancelled 10 days before departure but this was not unexpected as N Z has stopped most ships going there this year , P & O are not alone there!
Due to bad weather 1 port was cancelled and 2 were shorter than planned.
As ...
We went on this cruise to celebrate a friends special birthday. Unfortunately I was stuck down with a case of Food Poisoning on the first day after lunch so spent my time in the cabin ill. I contacted the medical centre onboard but was very quickly shut down and hung up on (care factor zero) . Very poor form from the medical staff and failing to even ask any questions. This was documented to the ...
Thank you to p n o for the best holiday. Had the best time, the show the entertainment never a dole moment. Always some thing to do. Love the cocktail. The restaurant were amazing the service was outstanding. There was only one thing the table for couples was to close. A big big thank you to our room Stewart Mushaf. You went above and beyond not just cleaning our room, you were helpful with ...
Embarkation: we lined up for over an hour to get into the terminal. It seems that everyone arrived for a 12:30pm boarding time despite the time they were actually given. Once we got into the terminal the process was relatively straight forward. I'm not too sure why I bothered getting my second covid vaccine or doing the rat test though as these were never checked.
Room: we had a three birth ...
Rooms were fine - staff was excellent! Can't fault them for a second. Can't say the same for other passengers...
First I'll say the shows and comedians were perfect! Staff were beautiful, and all the water, coffee and juice stations were always in great condition and full! It was, overall, not an experience I regret.
However...
Some activities were so limited that only experienced ...
My extended family and I paid very close to $20,000 for this cruise to New Zealand. In addition, my siblings had travelled from Europe for what was supposed to be a meaningful, therapeutic and pleasant experience. We had lost both parents to Covid and this was the first time we had reunited - we were looking forward to a magical New Zealand cruise experience.
It was far from magical. The lack ...
We chose this cruise due to the itinerary plus as it left from Adelaide it saved the hassle of travelling interstate. It was a 14 night cruise to New Zealand.
Be very cautious with P&O pricing - our cabin ranged from a price of $1400pp down to as low as $550 on discount and we paid $1100pp on a special fare but it did not come with a price match. Even if you book early then you dont seem to get ...
