Just can't understand why people can P&O!
They offer a good product at a good price and really they aren't much different than other lines we have been on.
The food is just like going to your local pub for a nice meal except you don't pay for it at the end of the night.
The entertainment is very good, the crew shows in the marquee are great and the music in the bars at night are ...
The Pacific Explorer, just like its sister ships in Australia, is a horrible old relic with rust everywhere and daggy old cabins - it really needs to be scrapped.
I had a terrible customer service retail experience where I was treated like an imbecile. I advised P&O of my awful experience through multiple channels, but have never received any acknowledgement of my complaint or an apology. I ...
Chose this cruise as it was departing from Cairns where we live and we had wanted to see PNG and try a cruise as had never been interested before. We were happy it was only a 7 night cruise and were happy to get off the ship back in Cairns. The cruise was quite rough at sea for 1st 2 days and was happy I was taking seasick tablets from when we sailed. Many were quite ill the first 2 days and ...
we cruised with another couple which always makes the trip more interesting and fun.
Ship was generally fine, but with a few strange sections, like the Dragon Lady being accessable only from rear of ship.
Cruise Director Rory and Jarad were fantastic and really made the cruise fun.
We purchased a refreshment package for $25 and it was good value.
Restaurants ( free) were all great ...
Once aboard after paying a reasonable price for a cabin, P&O hit you left, right and centre with fee paying activities, food, entertainment.
First , the 2 good points.
1 Embarcation and disembarcation at White Bay were flawless. We paid for ship transfer from and to Central Station Sydney. Once we found out by asking rail staff exactly where to get on at Central, the process was ...
Since our last cruise, my wife has been completely indifferent to the idea of cruising.
I saw this cruise advertised, it left from Brisbane in our home state and was just 7 days. I thought it looked good value and she decided to give it a go. The embarkation process was not pleasant but then moving that many people around is no easy task.
The cruise was brilliant, beyond our expectations. We ...
We chose this cruise because it was cheap. you get what you pay for!! after the last p&o cruise, i swore i would never use p&o again. the food in all free restaurents was tasteless, poorly prepaired, poor quality & with little variety. i thought it may have improved, but it hasn't.
Drinks are double the price of any other cruise line considering they are pouring 1/2 nips (30ml) for $11. ...
We booked this cruise to sail in 2021 but it got postponed twice due to covid related issues. Have sailed once with P&O before and it was not the best experience so went onto this cruise with rather low expectations.
Embarkation - we did the Verifly before we arrived to make things easier. Despite the website and all the documentation saying you need to wear a mask in the terminal and for ...
SUMMARY: Their booking and planning tech (i.e. website) is DEPLORABLE, and coming from the USA to depart from an Australian port, it's pretty darn critical that this should operate more seamlessly. Added to that, I was beginning to think that their own cruise staff was going to MUTINY! This was a P&O cruise, owned by Carnival, departing and returning out of Fremantle.
The rest of the ...
We chose this cruise solely for the Itinerary - Fremantle to Exmouth to view the April 20th Total Solar Eclipse. The eclipse was everything it should have been - beautiful, awe-inspiring, stunning, unlike the ship.
Where to begin?
Even before arriving - VeriFly.- a total nightmare to download and use. Numerous emails from the UK to try and sort out problems, speaking of which- why do P&O ...
